According to the selectors, Trott, Bell and Harmison have been picked due to their consistent form in the CC - fair enough...but why has Panesar been picked ahead of the likes of Keedy, Rashid, Tredwell, Dalrymple then????

Tom Smith...nailed on certainty... .....He's probably at the same point right now in his career as Flintoff was at a similar age....plus with Moores guiding him, I reckon within 12 months he'll be in the 1-day side...2 years the test team...

Seems the wicket is going to have plenty in it and will turn a lot as the Test goes on. Still can't see England picking two spinners and if they were considering it then it should have been Rashid and not Monty.

Freddie to come back for either Harmison/Onions. Bell to three with Collingwood at 4 and Trott at 5. Batting looks pish to me!!
