He's not as good as Rooney. The other players you mention are all wingers.
It seems the rumours about Suarez moving to City were started by Liverpool themselves, if you believe the journos on Twitter. What do you make of that? I think a lot of clubs would be put off by his thirst for controversy and he's never looked like he wanted to leave, so I doubt he'll go anywhere.
The one Liverpool need to worry about is Raheem Sterling. I'll bet the rumours of an imminent City raid are true, they just weren't about Suarez.
It appears the journalists on Twitter are embarrassing themselves and their profession. Journos never reveal their sauces yet there seems to be quite the bit of bickering between who's actually released this story. Embarrassing really, Liverpool journos will say City, City journos will say Liverpool. WGAF? Only you, I imagine.
Don't really get this thirst for controversy stuff, from everything I've read on him his biggest problem is his desire to win, it pushes him over the edge and that's when the silly stuff happens. Off the pitch he seems to be one of the best people at our club and I've never read a bad thing about him. Compare that to the many players you regularly see in tabloids for all kinds of reasons and I'd say any club taking him on would only have to worry about controlling his determination, something I think every coach would rather have than have a player that's too laid back or doesn't care.
After that performance from Ibrahimovic and that goal, this is the subject you decide to post about?
His second goal was better than Suarez's "best goal ever" against the geordies. Perfect control of a difficult ball at speed + clinical finish > Perfect control of a difficult ball and going past a stationary object.
The fourth goal. Amazing piece of skill from Ibra. I reckon he'd score in 2/50 attempts. If he wasn't injured after the first few.
But, more importantly, WTF was Hart doing? As great a piece of skill as it was from Ibra, it was eclipsed in being a totally woeful example of goalkeeping. He had two defenders who would have been better placed in taking that ball. Instead he runs out of the box and takes the defenders out of the game, places himself out of the game, and offers Ibra the free chance at goal.
Even if Ibrahimovic had missed the ball and landed flat on his back and injured himself, he should have been less embarrassed at that than Hart was at his goalkeeping. That's not even primary school goalkeeping, it's GIRL'S primary school goalkeeping.
The only positive from Citeh is that he dropped that clanger while playing for England.

3-2 down in injury time, not that surprising he had a rush of blood. I thought he was more at fault for the 3rd.

Suarez won't go City. He won't go to another English club andwe wouldn't let him. In the summer I'd if been worried but having signed a new 5 year deal to stay at Anfield, I'm confident he'll be going nowhere.
Raheem will sign a new contract next month when he turns 18.

Contracts don't mean a thing in football, they are merely used by clubs as a device to keep a player's value up at its maximum.
Most players will happily sign them because they usually mean a healthy pay rise and with most players, especially the top ones, they will be filled with clauses which will make any future move a simple task.
At the moment, Suarez and Liverpool will both be happy enough, because the player is getting a nice payday and Liverpool can at least ask for his full value (and more) when the big clubs come calling.
The big clubs came calling in the summer, PSG were offering buvket loads of casg, Chelsea were supposedly interested in him too.
He won't go. Infact I'll happily bet £20 with anybody on here who to give to a chosen charity.
I was thinking more BIG clubs, rather than sides who are actually smaller than Liverpool, but just happen to have rich owners....PSG are in a tinpot league, he may as well go to Celtic.
I'd be thinking one of the Spanish big two, one of the Milan's or Juve, or maybe City, if they got another title and looked for a marquee signing to push them on in Europe.
While not neccessarily a big club, another title for City would convince more doubting foreign mercenaries that they are indeed the real thing.
LFC have said his behaviour didn't match the standards expected by the club. They said that official club guidelines should have been followed, namely that they should have contacted Gerrard's gangster mates and let him deal with the problem.
