The right choices were made I feel, Rose and Casey are unlucky but knew what they had to do before it all started.
Harrington is a huge player for Europe and had to be picked, Molinari played superb yesterday and deserved his place and I would have gone for Donald ahead of Rose/Casey.

Why did Harrington have to be picked? I don't get this he must be picked attitude, why? he has been a huge player for Europe but it won't last forever. He's slipped down the rankings this year and he hasn't exactly played that well this year.
I've never been a fan of Donald, I don't like him and personally I'd rather have had Karlsson or Stenson in there ahead of him and I'd have had Rose and Casey ahead of them. Molinari had to be in the team, he's an excellent prospect.

At least it shows the strength in depth we've got when we've left out players of the talents of Casey, Rose, Garcia, Stenson, Karlsson.
The players who decide to chase the US dollar know beforehand that it's harder for them to get into the Ryder Cup team so it's no use them moaning about it afterwards.

I don't think they're moaning about it, if anything it's Donald who has made the point of changing the way things are done. You're right, isn't it nice that we've got this debate going about who should and shouldn't be in the team, it does show the quality of players.
I'm delighted Garcia didn't get a sniff of playing, he completely messed up two years ago and hasn't performed at all since. Although I think he's a vice captain now.
That could be Monty's thinking behind Donald but I'd rather players be picked on their form and current ability and I don't think Monty he has done that with Harrington and it's the same attitude that Paul has that is so frustrating.
