There is a simple way to stop time wasting in football..................follow RL's example, and use a clock in the ground to show the game has stopped, when the ref has given a signal.
No more 45 second substitutions
No more excessive goal celebrations eating up time
Injury time controversies are brought to an end, thus preventing 70odd year olds making themselves look foolish, when their team isn't winning.

Hazard - bell end

Ballboy - bell end. Shouldn't he be after girls/in the pub/etc, doing things that 17 year olds, do

The more base Chelsea "fans" - I've heard that they've returned to type, and have sent the "kid" death threats, like they did a la Anders Frisk - bell ends

If so Swansea should get into trouble over that, firstly for having a 17 year old ball boy and secondly for his actions.

Meanwhile poor Hazard gets a 3 match ban no doubt.

Swansea should get into trouble for having 17 year old ball boys. Yeah, throw 'em out of the competition.

and as for "poor Hazard", your berkness really has shown through, this time.

Obviously in this highly strung modern game, he is always going to get a ban for that. But was he in the wrong? He never intended the hurt the fool and clearly wouldn't have done it had he not been dicking about with the ball.

Swansea, on a serious note, should be more professional than this. If it was true that he's the owners son and the tweets he made, they should grow up.

If he "never intended to hurt the fool" (are you a mind reader, btw), he wouldn't have used his foot. He's kicked him. Deal with it.

I'm just waiting for Saturday, now, for the following scenario
Team A are winning 2-0 after 88 mins
Team B are awarded a pen, which is successfully converted. The keeper then picks up the ball, the penalty taker tries to wrestle the ball off him. They both fall to the floor, resulting in the penalty taker trying to kick the ball out of the goalies hand, resulting in a freeforall. ATEOTD, it doesn't matter about the scoring team "legging it back" with the ball, as the OPPOSITION still have to restart the match. They'll still dawdle back to the half-way line.

I love my football, but you do have to laugh at it, at times.

As I said earlier, let the crowd see how long's left in a game, and not have this pantomime in guessing how much "injury time" is going to be given, to which one lot of spectators will roundly boo.

FFS, let's get some clarity.
Mind you, this is football. They (it's governing bodies) make ostriches seem open to persuasion

Seeing as you're a Citeh fan, let's imagine (because it's not like this would happen) that during a game a Citeh player just kicks a Chelsea player who is laying on the ground.

The Chelsea player gives the ref a WTF expression.

The Citeh player then slaps the Chelsea player on the head.

The referee says he saw the kick, but hey, it was only a little kick, eh? He says he never saw the slap.

Hazard didn't kick the kid. He kicked the ball out from underneath him. He MAY have made contact with the kid, because he was clearly a little fattie, but the kid was a BS artist who was simply there to milk anything that happened.

Unless he wins the FA Cup, Europa League and qualifies for the Champs League of course.

TBF to Rafa, you were hardly setting the World alight under Di Matteo this season were you?
