How annoying were ITV over the Carroll header and Cech save? "This proves that we need technology", "The pictures prove inconclusive", "The Jose Mourinho comment regarding Luis Garcia but it doesn't work like that". (why say it then?!)..The linesman got it right so why does technology need to be brought into the equation?
Also asking Terry, Carroll and others "did it cross the line?". I'm pretty sure the 50 replays that the presenters have seen proves not only what happened but also gives them more of an incite as to what happened than the players.
Got to say at normal speed I thought it was in but full credit to the lino.
On first viewing, the power that Carroll got on the header did make it look like it was in.
Personally, I don't think any of those players truly had a clue whether it was in or not. The element of bias is to strong. Liverpool desperately want the goal to be given, so like Dalglish they see the ball 2 ft over the line. The Chelsea players desperately hope that it isn't a goal, so they will plead that Cech got it just in time.
Until Liverpool scored I thought we played with ease and control. After they scored I thought we were utterly dire. That was an awful last half hour.
But 5 minutes injury time, which grew into nearly 6???
