Shouldn't be surprised. They bought out a treble dvd for winning the uefa cup/league cup/fa cup in 2001.

How annoying were ITV over the Carroll header and Cech save? "This proves that we need technology", "The pictures prove inconclusive", "The Jose Mourinho comment regarding Luis Garcia but it doesn't work like that". (why say it then?!)..The linesman got it right so why does technology need to be brought into the equation?

Also asking Terry, Carroll and others "did it cross the line?". I'm pretty sure the 50 replays that the presenters have seen proves not only what happened but also gives them more of an incite as to what happened than the players.

Got to say at normal speed I thought it was in but full credit to the lino.

I agree. Beckham, Suarez, Alonso etc are all truly brilliant, while Pele was just very good.

The truth is that when you're getting a goal from over 40 yards, the vast majority of the time it's nothing more than a 1 in 50 fluke.

Suarez had a crack at one today. I'm not even sure if it ended up out for a throw in or a defender had to go for a jog to go and get it in the corner.

On first viewing, the power that Carroll got on the header did make it look like it was in.

Personally, I don't think any of those players truly had a clue whether it was in or not. The element of bias is to strong. Liverpool desperately want the goal to be given, so like Dalglish they see the ball 2 ft over the line. The Chelsea players desperately hope that it isn't a goal, so they will plead that Cech got it just in time.

Until Liverpool scored I thought we played with ease and control. After they scored I thought we were utterly dire. That was an awful last half hour.

But 5 minutes injury time, which grew into nearly 6???

Liverpool were poor and deserved to lose. The ball wasn't over the line.

Think Drogba spent about 2-3 minutes having his groin seen to. The two subs at the end started before injury time, but play didn't resume until after 91 minutes. Thought the injury time was about right.

As for today's game, I thought it was another poor quality game, much like the Citeh and United game. Liverpool done nothing in the first half, Downing and Enrique were embarrassing in the first half, whilst the two midfielders were overwhelmed by the occasion and the opposition. I didn't think Chelsea were particularly great, but they didn't need to be as they got their goal early and were comfortable watching Liverpool give it away.

Lots of questions to be answered at our club though. Why does it take 60 minutes to get motivated for the biggest game of the season? Where has the motivation been all season? Where on earth has £100m gone?!

Liverpool have been garbage all season, were garbage against Cardiff but just scraped it on pens cos they were playing a team even worse than them that day and were garbage again today. Knew Chelsea just had to turn up today and they'd win. Shame too as I can't stand the Cockernee wideboys so was hoping for a Liverpool win for a change!
