Did anything actually happen in England v France? I flicked over several times during Cats v Bulls & nothing was ever happening, always stood around waiting for kick, scrum, lineout, injury. Is the score pre-arranged in a lottery style programme?

Caught five minutes at the airport. In that brief period I was treated to two collapsed scrums, a five yard sprint and a penalty.

I did hear that fat one, who replaced Rob Andrew once, say "True rugby aficionados appreciate that internationals are won & lost in the engine room" or some bollox excuse. Which means it had been a crap, dire forward drudge.

Exactly. Union has changed incredibly in recent years but the ethos of the game should always remain.
