I was too tense during the match yesterday to really appreciate that. It felt like an end-to-end contest and that at any moment, Rovers could break through and score.
But rewatching the game today, it's much more obvious that Rovers were finding it harder and harder to deal with Wigan's defence. It's probably not incorrect to say that in the second half, they never looked like scoring.
