After watching a replay of game the game today i think they where playing to the crowd today! Lees should have been red carded as he led with the elbow and the Commentator said he was told it was a yellow for Byrne! and the ref gave a Red he played to the crowd not the Video ref! watch the replay of the game and you will no what i mean

To be fair. French never had control of the grounding for his try. If it was given as a no try by the ref the VR wouldn’t have overturned it.

That's always the case though. Completely different scenario to overruling the video ref or missing similar infringements for Saints that he penalised Wigan for.
