Recently I put a message on this web site suggesting that an interesting way to spend time before next season kicks off might be to start work on writing a fictional novel based loosely on either your own life or on the life of an older or past member of your family. Nearly 700 people read this but as yet no one has asked me to send them my three pages of advice on how they can do the same. These sheets explain how I have written six novels all set against a background of work, family life, rugby league and Lancashire/Yorkshire rivalry and humour. It's a rugby league forum Geoff. I sense the frustration in your post but this really isn't your platform. If I was writing a fictional book about Wigan it'd be 'Debbie does Darlington St' although in Scholeshenge that has probably already happened.
