What a player. The way he seems to look after his body I would put him it past him going on for longer than this contract .

I am not usually in favour of giving players in their thirties multi-year contracts but I will make an exception for Faz. Good business.

Brilliant - it says a lot about his fitness and attitude that I'm actually pleased it's a three year contract, not worried.

It's got me thinking, how far away is Faz from being our all time highest scoring forward? Not counting the likes of Hanley who obviously scored plenty in the backs.

It would’ve been an insult to his fitness levels and consistency had we not gone long term on it. He’s so good and finally seems to be getting the praise across the game that he deserves. He’ll have a huge leadership role to play over the next year or so, as guys like Leuluai and Isa walk away, so it’s great to get him sorted.
