Looking like wet weather rugby on Friday. Despite the players missing they will have a strong front row available with a good kicking game from Austin and Sezer. I suspect we will go with the same side bar Thornley's replacement but if we're looking at a battle of the forwards with territory key then I'd consider bringing in a bigger body in Miski and/or taking a risk with four forwards on the bench. I wonder whether Harry Smith's kicking game might be called upon as well.

On a side note, ticket sales for the game 'not good' according to a contact at the club though they are hopeful for a decent walk up. Season ticket sales down on the last pre covid year as you'd expect but hopefully with some winning/attractive rugby plus the declining covid threat (touch wood) fans will start to make their way back.

I know - just what I'd do. Marshall showed his best qualities last week and was very good - can't see him having the chance to do that on Friday though.
