With the Miller deal apparently dead in the water what options do you think Wigan have ? I think Tommy doing another year is nailed on but it looks like the next announcement aside from the new coaching set up will be a half. Is anyone available ? Would IFL pay a fee?

Good. I’m relieved it is to be honest.

Depends where and what we’re looking for. There is also a few knocking about in the NRL but I think we’d do a lot worst than Abdul. He’s only 25 and will improve over the years, he’d be a great acquisition and he must want a shot at trophies knowing realistically he’s not going to win any with HKR

Unfortunately he has signed a 3 year deal with KR this year.

If Cas have an interest in Hardaker and the club are going to let him go anyway, I’d push for Trueman. He has one year on his deal, won’t be signing a new one by all accounts and he’d be a real long term option. It’s probably unlikely because it sounds like he’s already had his head turned by Leeds to sign there in 2023 and replace one or both of Austin and Gale.

The club must be wondering how they are going to sell season tickets next year.

Wigan need a name that will tempt people to part with their money.

It’s all feeling a bit Sammut at the moment.

Was said at the fans forum that it was Lams decision to bring in Sammut.
I also got the impression that Field was too.

I know but we could always splash the cash (as long as HKR don’t want silly money).

Never mind. I’ve just realised what I’ve just said and I’m bordering delusion.

He's more chance of winning a trophy at HKR at the moment  :D
