I've just been on the 'supporters forum and news' group on Facebook and someone has just posted this.
Couldn't have put it better myself. As I've repeatedly stated I'm not defending our owners 100%, mistakes no doubt have been made and are still being made. Communication to supporters has been poor, lets see Tuesday how honest this forum really is.
However as usual those making the loudest noises against IL for not putting his hand in his pocket (when he clearly has done) is being made by those who repeatedly refuse to put their hand in their pocket to bring revenue into the club.

My issue with Lenagan is not his removal but his accountability to us. He’s hiding, has been hiding for a long time and it’s only fan discontent online that seems to have driven next week’s forum to be set up. I’ve slept on what happened last night and just find the situation embarrassing that club leadership has led us down this path. If it’s because of covid, I don’t know because the communication has been non-existent. It could be because of other factors but we haven’t been made aware. It’s the general apathy that comes form the club that is frustrating. We’ve heard plenty from Radlinksi about whiskey and re-branding, initially plenty from Lenagan about the Latics takeover/ground purchase and then radio silence. I don’t expect anyone to come in and take over but I just expect better and I don’t think that’s too much to ask.
