Good on you. Me personally, when i am not paying bills, i like to spend whatever i have left on being entertained and things that i enjoy doing. I won't pay for something that i don't enjoy whether that makes me an armchair supporter, part time fan etc etc i don't really care, it's my money and i work hard for it. I bought a season ticket last season knowing i would be missing lots of games through work but the club made a commitment with big signings so i responded in the best way i could. The club are looking like making dross signings this time around so i will respond in the best way i can again, I.E - Steer clear and watch it on the telly.
I agree with you to a certain extent, although I'll probably still go and watch the games.
For me and I know I've posted this before, there's a certain section of the fan base that's taken for granted and opinions aren't bothered with. I fully know that I'm a product of my time and that there's fans older than me who've seen worse and fans younger than me who only know SL. I'm a fan because I grew up in the golden era, my heros are some of the best to have ever played the game. That's the Wigan standard for me and if those standards aren't being met - then I'll ask myself why I bother, when those in charge don't seem to match those ambitions.
