Possibly, but there's no smoke without fire & some teams did want the fixture scrapped.

I can't see any situation where Connor gets in over Coote. That's unless Coote refused to play, or was told not to.

I think a lot of credit has to go to the All Stars players they are risking injury, but without the kudos of an international shirt, like Davies, say. They have put on a thoroughly good performance of skill and grit.

I absolutely hope this is an annual fixture but only if it is treated with the respect a real contest deserves.

It must be treated as a stand alone fixture and the clubs back it and understand that the garbage we saw tonight does nothing for the sport in this country.

Having a SL fixture on at the same time as this game just sums up the farce that tonight was.

Sadly the club chairman will sit around full of self interest whilst Rome burns around them wondering where their spectators are.

Pathetic marketing pathetic event, and if the RFL think that’s a credible game we need new leadership.

The general consensus (on here) seems to be that it was a good and competitive game? Certainly seemed to mean a lot to the AS team at the end.
