A few points on this one...

1 - It's been a competitive game. I still think there's something in the concept, especially with the inclusion of guys that want to be in the England side.

2 - Bateman has gone off injured. Typical of how things are going for us.

3 - I'd take Tim Sheens until the end of the season. He seems to have knitted these guys together well and it's only been a week.

Edit - just remembered Sheens is going back to Wests.

Yes, a scratch side still looked to vaster better attacking shape than Wigan.

Oledski doesn't look out of place.

Another good performance from Liam Farrell. I cant remember ever seeing him have a bad game

4 - How fast was Farrell or how slow was Connor for his first try? Connor had a good position to take him wide and tackle him but he didn’t even lay a finger on him.

Absolutely. Connor is a talented player, but that was not the play of an international full-back. If Faz can step round him with ease, what chance does he have against the best outside backs in the world?

All important points however you have missed out the fact that we now know that not only does Phil Clarke have friends....he has friends in Cameroon.
