But hey, let's not let the truth get in the way of LeBron poop stirring between wigan and wire fans
Nor me.
It’s Saints’ to lose this year IMO with their main challengers being Catalans. No doubt Wire will be there or there about at seasons end but I just can’t see them winning it in all honesty.
They’ve recruited well for 2022 though so it’s within the realms of possibilities it could be their year next season.
Good luck to the lad. I wish players would be honest about their reasons for signing for certain clubs sometimes but he’s not on his own in throwing the ‘I love a new challenge’ line about.
Controversial comment here but I’d rather anybody bar Saints win the title this year, so if it has to be Warrington, then so be it. I can’t think of anything that would sum up what a sorry state superleague is in more than an average Saints team making it three titles on the spin. A coach taking them backwards and playing unbelievably negative rugby league winning two on the spin (and probably a challenge cup) is extremely depressing.

Can't disagree more. I'd rather have anyone than Wire win it. If we can't win it, then I'd rather see Saints or Leeds win it. After that Hull.
As much as we don't like to admit it - Saints are us and Leeds are the Yorkshire version of us i.e established clubs with a proud tradition of winning the league and producing some of the games best players.
I'll happily admit my distain for GW and there's no well wishes from me. The fact someone who said "Wigan will always have a place in my heart" now wants to win the league with wire sums him up imo.
Perhaps I’m in the minority but I don’t hold any disdain for GW. A lower wage, club dwindling, average at best proposed signings replacing (alleged) world class players, no investment in coaching staff, an inept coach versus a higher wage, club appearing to be on the up, good players inbound with dross outbound, a proven coach who should bring trophies.
It’s a no brainer for me, even without the money being higher to be honest.
I wish him well, not luck obviously but that’s a given.

jesus, get over it,
You sound like a proper butt hurt ex boyfriend. or, even worse, like the saints fans still banging on about Gary connolly and andy platt., or Lachlan coote in 30 years time

Thanks for the feedback.
For a club that supposedly hates Wigan, you're all fawning over (yet another) player that we've produced. Half your team are Wigan lads, but maybe that's what it takes for the 'mighty Wire' to win the league.

I would suggest that the biggest thing tickling our fancies and I admit that I can't speak for everyone is not because the lad's from Wigan like one or two others and not that he's chosen us over you for whatever reason but that we are a club that is showing ambition.
Sure we may fall short and how plenty would laugh I get that and IF that happens the wait continues BUT we are trying and if only that was spread throughout the league and I accept there are limiting factors but that would really float my boat a SPORT on the up
