I don’t mind it on their line to be honest. Make them come out. Toughest part of the pitch for the forwards.

Thought that was a great spectacle. Really physical contest, probably at the cost of technical skill but all round good game.

Improvements to be made for us I think, but that’s not a criticism for a change. Our defence was brilliant for the most part and we were just solid in attack. A few chances we bombed (that Harry Smith break and Zak break) but we got the win against a good Hull side.

Really looking forward to playing them again next week in the cup.

Just on the racist comment allegation; irrespective of who said it, if it’s proven we should be cancelling their contract and sacking them for gross misconduct. Absolutely no excuse for it. The big caveat there is ‘if’ obviously

Agree with all of that. We could’ve scored 2 or 3 more tries easily and Hull unlucky not to score one.

Clubb and Bullock only did one stint. Probably 5 carries between them so we played almost the whole game with 2 subs.

Thought Smithies was outstanding in defence as well.

Clubb should have his contract cancelled on the basis of being dogturd.

Exactly. Turn it over with 98m to go rather than risk a 7 tackle set starting on the 20.
