No, Madge wouldn't have had the career he had without the leg up from Nobbys Team

Souths had lost more games than they'd won in each of the last 11 seasons
They immediately finished 3rd then 2nd, then won the GF in his 3rd season and over those 3 seasons he won 2/3rds of his games

But yeah, he wouldn't have done that without John lang etc.
