Leigh should have been walloped tonight, they’re a proper poor team all across the board. I’d be amazed if they won a game this season to be honest. We were poor in all aspects of our game and as I wasn’t after the Salford debacle I’m not enthused at all on this performance.

Nice of you to be gracious in victory. I thought we played really well for most of the game and should have been leading by more than 10 points at half time. But 2nd half even though you only won it 12-0, defence wise it was quite comfortable for you guys. But having said that, I reckon we will get stuffed next week.

SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

How do you know hes not spent George Burgess salary cap portion of his wage?

I'll give you a hint, he spent 110 of it on resigning a couple.of star players.

Don't be confusing him with facts.

Everything I expected from you guys.

To be fair to the lad he grew in confidence as the game went on , I spoke too soon .
We do need a kicker though

Yes, there you go. I don’t think commenting we need a a big experienced prop is out of order and unless I missed it we haven’t signed a replacement for GB.

Quite right, Dave. That performance was all IL's fault.

You've been saying all along that we should get rid of him

Well i guess that makes it a hat trick. Three of the usual suspects jump on a comment about us looking lacking in the prop department. I honesty don’t know why bother with this anymore.

We must have all misinterpreted your words, here they

"Got out of jail there. Can’t see what excuses there are for that first half performance. It just wasn’t competent and first game of the season or not there is no real excuse for that.
If IL was thinking of saving some money by not spending George Burgess wages I think a rethink is required.
Still two points after a poor performance is still two points."

Not sure how your reply measures up to your original statement.

And here's me interpreting it the same way as a couple of others, that it was another not so thinly veiled dig at IL for a BS reason

Well you may be better choosing your words better, because that's not what you said as far as I can make out.

Played about as poorly as we could for the first half hour. The last thing we needed was another back getting injured. Do we have anyone returning next week apart from Hastings? How far off is KPP?
