How come no one else in SL had that “virus” that Wane claimed you have then? Think you need to let it go pal.

Perfect example of why I posted what I did.

Zero sympathy or empathy (even to this day) for Wigan and the events of that game. We're now even denying that there even was a virus.

To make it 100% clear I'm not laughing, or gloating at Wakefield's current position. It's just a perfect example of karma and why fans shouldn't revel in the misfortune of other side's. I'll say that to our fans too - the ones who are laughing at Latics, or laughing because saints got knocked out of the cup by a bad ref decision.

I don't think it was lacking in class, or was unfair. It was probably a written a little clunky.

Let's not beat around the bush here there's a big lack of sympathy from me. I don't have a short memory and I certainly remember the lack of sympathy thrown our way when we had that awful day. In fact I remember them revelling in the 60+ points they put on us.

Will I gloat like they did - probably not? But is it the definition of Karma and a lesson to all fans about celebrating such results? Most definitely.

Their players have a potentially life threatening condition (if not life threatening to them, then to their loved ones, who may be more vulnerable). That's a lot more important than who wins a game of rugby. I absolutely have sympathy for them.

I understand what sergeant pepper is saying but the two are certainly differing in severity

How are they? You're great at not answering questions...

I'd love to hear your definition of completely different.

The exact two same teams.

One had a virus and had a weakened team & got pumped 62 - 0. Now the same two teams are playing at the other side now has a weakened team (they might not even have a virus btw).

Seems like the same ball park to me.

This is a virus which has caused disruption to the entire world.

It is a virus that doesn’t have a vaccine as yet and can affect everyone who the players come into contact with.

I don’t think the Wigan team that played that day took the field with life or death concerns to their family and loved ones on their minds.

You may say it’s the same.

I totally disagree. I think the the sentiment of “karma” at the current time with so many people going through so much uncertainty is extremely distasteful.

Just my opinion though obviously.

This weakened Wakefield side looks exactly like their strongest side. There is only one weakened team out there and it isn't them
