He would certainly improve the side in place of gildart and what he's shown this season and like has been said he can kick goals!!

I didn’t mean you specifically but in general he’s never far away from the conversation and I can’t fathom why. Other than kick goals well he’s not a SL quality player like Sammut wasn’t either. Choosing between him and Thornley for a centre slot is like choosing which testicle I’d like to be nailed to a plank of wood. For us to be seriously having that debate and choice is a stark reminder of where we’re at.

The problem is the league is lacking in quality centres, ones that are available are probably zero.

You look across the league and they're nearly all battering rams, centres who can put their wingers away are practically non-existent

Sezer and Blake Austin have signed for Leeds. Never thought Gale would stay at Leeds after his incident and losing the captaincy.
Where he goes he can offer quite a bit. Wouldn't be my choice but so what!

Ideally you would only want to give him a year contract or a 2 year with second year in our favour dependant on him meeting criteria.

If Gale is on the outer at Leeds it’s due to attitude problems. The Leeds fans I was chatting to at magic think he has too high an opinion of himself. He also has history of significant injury problems.

If we went that way I’d agree, a 1+1 would be the best option.

I’m of the belief that currently there isn’t a standout candidate available to be a long term half for us and I would rather we got someone on a short term contract, ideally 1 year and hopefully find the long term option next year. Gale could fit that bill, he’s 33 and seemingly on the outside at Leeds, the only problem is he’s still got a year on his contract at what will be a big wage, would he be willing to take a pay cut to be a guaranteed starter in the hope if he performs well he could get an extension? I’d think he would want 2 years at least or maybe even just happy to have one last year on the outside cashing it in at Leeds.
