http://www.wiganwarriors.com/news_full.asp?newsid=4531 Bridge Street in Hindley is closed causing major disruption to the area with no clear divisions in place. Any fans travelling from the North or East of the town are advised to use the M61 to junction 6 (Horwich / Reebok Stadium) and then to drop into Wigan via Haigh or Whelley. Alternatively, use the A580 and M6, junction 25, and then take the A49 to get to the ground.

folk have found alternate routes.

however....if your coming from the m61..ie yorkshire way.....come off at the reebock, go down dicconson lane, then carry on to aspull and down scholes way.

atherton way......go through bickershaw, lower ince.

there is only a short section of bridge street closed, and after the initial disruption due to nobody realising it was closed, things are calming down.
i wouldnt anticipate any major delays.
