apparantly he has supplied the personal details of fellow referees to a trade union without first receiving their permission - which is:

a) illegal under the terms of the data protection act; and
b) unethical - i wouldnt be happy if one of my colleagues gave my personal details to a trade union (or anyone else).

Nothing in Lehams terms, however in laymans terms he has probably given them their home addresses and phone numbers etc

Just speculating of course.

its hardly down to a lack of security or data protection provision - any company is susceptible to breaches in security through employee foul play, even those with the best and most rigorous security proceedures.

So do you have access to the personal details of other employees in the organisation you work for?

Is Silverwood the HR manager for the RFL?

I'm certainly not going to lose any sleep over Silverwood's absence. They might do around St Helens way, however.

Do you think that a day will go by, where you dont drag us into something we have nothing to do with? The infatuation you have with us seems to grow stronger by the month.

Some maybe, but the point is he's been suspended because of "an alleged breach of IT policy", which looks like getting the details off the system. Hence my point about the RFL need to look at how he's been able to do this.

He became over-exposed to the sub-prime US mortgage market.
