look at it this way...if he was a bankers advisor/stockbroker, who they had spent time and money training up and he got 2 years for fraud, do you think they would re-employ him after his 2 year sentence was up????
NO WAY.........and the same applies in this case imo.

But if the banker was sacked for taking drugs, he would not be banned from banking.
Wigan need to keep him under their wing and help the lad. Ok he might have done something silly but don't condemn him to a life without rugby.If he gets banned, and he keeps his fitness up, then clubs would be queing up to sign him.

I disagree. We should dump him on his arse. The rules state don't take drugs, simple.

Everyone makes mistakes, why punish him twice, going from 100k+ to nothing will mean he looses his home as well as his job and respect. He could go really off the rails and i think it would be right of the club to support him if they can.

Nothing has been confirmed so your allegation is up to now wrong, but this could change.

Hock needs to be looked after, by Wigan, and given the option of playing if he serves a ban. Let's hope this is not another one who'll come back to haunt us.

Wigan R.L is all i care about sacking him is only hurting us alot more than any 2 year ban.

Maybe IL can have a chat with Whelan, see if he can pull a few strings at JJB to get him a position over at Martland Mill.

2 years of 6-2 earlies, 2-10 afternoons, and 10-6 neet turn picking in't warehouse - that'll sort him out!

Spot on.

I'd like to see the club keep him, he's a good player, and if HKR can keep Cockayne I see no reason why we can't keep Hock.

The lad made a mistake. drugs are rife round wigan, hence the massive police presence recently. We all do daft things with a drink in us. Hock will already pay a heavy price for this, I don't see why we need to kick him while he is down.
