I expected us to be looking for new players for next season but a half back wasnt what i was expecting

I'd love a better quality scrumhalf to work with Sam.

The problem is how to also accomodate three very good players in Tommy, Riddell and Mcilorum.

send Mcilorum out on loan for a year, Tommy out of contract the following year when Mcilorum comes back problem solved, they did it at Saints with Moor

IMO that would weaken us, McIlorum is a better Hooker than Tommy.

To be fair, i'd rather keep the team as it is at the minute, i cant see any weak links for us for now.
Everyone here seems to be enjoying their rugby, but if we lose players for obvious reasons (retirement, personal reasons etc) then we should be looking to replace them with similar or better ability.
Just out of interest, how many players of ours are actually mentioning retirement at the minute?

I would hope not. Tommy definately isnt a regular starting 9, we are much better when Riddell is at 9
