32, many miles on the clock, just missed a full season minus an hour at Bradford. Fielden could be finished theres no way Saints have even thought about him.

That could be true actually. Burgess has been in the T&A a lot recently harping on about wanting a new deal from the Bulls. Perhaps Saints have inquired because of that, and snared him.

He's got a year left on his contract so we'd either have to release him (not gonna happen if he's going to Saints) or Saints will have to cough up a fee and with the new stadium draining their funds for the time being they don't have tuppence to rub together

Anyway, seeing as we've just lost two senior forwards in Hoffman and Coley I don't see why we'd let our most experienced remaining prop leave when he's under contract unless he really is shot
