It sounds like an idea though. To think we could have a club that we could use to get our youngsters some gametime with whilst also signing up young Welsh talent to nurture there ready to come in to our first team seems very shrewd.

Presume this guesswork includes Gareth Thomas as coach with him also being able to turn out for us if needs be. We could have our coaches and our systems in place and it would basically be like a Wigan reserve side playing in Championship 1.

That doesn't sound bad. In fact if used properly it could be a great tool for Wigan to use. I like it.

I love it but I'm wondering if it's just wishful thinking and people would rather believe that then the club signing a 37 year old ex Union player with as much League experience as my 8 year old nephew to play on a regular basis for us.

I never believed we were signing Thomas to actually play much so never got eat up about it but now I'm not sure.

Don't think it mentions us though iirc just that Clark needs a job and it may be there.

Oh right. I haven't seen League Express this week.

Maybe it is just wishful thinking. I was hoping we might have heard some snippets from the shareholders meeting by now. It was at 11am after all.

Sam Tomkins will/has signed for South Sydney for the start of the 2013 season.
