Ray Cashmere seems to be a rough & tough prop forward. Bit of good coaching, surrounded by other quality forwards. I'd have him in the squad.

Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score. Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0 I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum. Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight! Esse quam videri.
I though Ratchford looked pretty good yesterday, him an Holdsworth have formed a good partnership at halfback. Having seen Ratchford play again I'd still be interested in seeing him in a Wigan shirt in the near future.
Agree in regards to Cashmere, I though he was pretty good yesterday to say his team were on the back foot most of the time whilst going forward.

Rugby Union: When entertainment just isn't your thing.
Ray Cashmere is a good player, but is contracted till 2011.
Out of all the British players out of contract I would go for Jamie Langley. A future prop forward if ever I saw one. He doesn't have the skills to play in the loose forward position and finally McNamara has seen this and moved him to the second row, but his attacking and defensive work rate is that of a prop forward. He has the size and power to excel in this position. I think he's a future regular test international and would be an awesome signing for the future years because at 26 he is coming to his peak IMO. Andy Coley and Stuart Fielden aren't going to get much better IMO and I wouldn't complain if we were to move for him as a replacement for one of the two.
The only problem is that I can't see him leaving Bradford.

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.

Agreed. From the little I've seen, he really is deserving of his 'The Most Feared Man in NRL' nickname.
I thought the most feared man in the NRL was John Hopoate?

Ian Roberts was never scared of him. Quite the opposite in fact.
On a slightly unrelated note, did you know that Jonny Walker has the lowest body fat percentage at Wigan?
