If FPN departs the n if we can't get a quality NRL prop then I'd go for Julian Bousquet from Catalans.

Big, strong, when carrying the ball most times controls the tackle and lands on his front and gets quick ptb.

Being French he would be a good compatriot for Escare. We need a big prop and there aren't too many around. I'd be ok with Bousquet.

I was just thinking, Bousquet seems to have been around forever, thought he might be getting on, but according to wiki he's only 26. 6 ft 4, 18 stone 6...

He's out of contract as well I believe and if he's not signed by now you'd imagine he may be on his way out.

I've mentioned Bousquet on a few occasions on here and talking to mates. He's a massive bloke and adds aggression to any pack. He's got things to work on but I don't think we'd see the half ar*ed efforts a few players have put in this year with him.

He would certainly add some much needed grunt to the pack. Would be pleasantly surprised if we did land him in that I expect Catalan to resign him as they have had massive changes in personnel and surely they have got to start to stop the exodus.

He'd be 34 when signing, turning 35 mid-way through 2020 season...even then he'd be on a £/$ packet!

He would be younger than what Lockers will be next season, yet he is deemed too old and yet a lot of fans want Lockers to go around again, it seems that age only matters when it is potential signings, unless you are Lockers

Lockers is already performing at a high level in this team. He knows the players, our systems etc, it's just more of the same for him. Sonny Bill has to get used to the UK, the team, the league etc, all whilst knowing he has already achieved everything he has set out to achieve in his career. How many overseas players have we seen take at least a year to settle here? I can hardly think of any who hit the ground running in fact. That's potentially ok if they have a big second year, but there may be no second year at that age.
