Of our last 10 games last season we won 6 and lost 4
Our first 10 games of this season we have won 9 and lost 1

Like i said. We'll see what happens come October time. I personally think Wire are more of a threat than you're.

I think it's clear to see we will be up there at the end of the year unless something drastic happens. Your 2nd half of the season will be a tough one though. You have us, Leeds, Wire all away. Will be interesting and one I'm looking forward to! We have already played 2 of the top teams away and beaten them. We will lose games of course but I fancy us finishing in the top 2 or 3 the way we are playing at the moment especially as you say we finished last season strong but we started miserably.

Threat to what? Who the hell do you think you are? People should be only taking about who is a threat to us because we are top and have already beat 2nd and 3rd away. We are in the box seat. You have the cheek to put mouth in reply to another post as well!

BIG loss for us and a major gain for Saints if they sign Shenton.

That's one centre spot covered for the next decade.

At least one big name needs to be brought in next season.

Wouldnt be that gutted if we missed out on Shenton especially if Goulding keeps his form up, commands a much less wage, home grown and gives his all every time. Just like Joel he is living up to how he played in the academy, they both dropped in form abit under Noble but this year with good coaching just look at the improvement. I would be happy with a back line of:

Phelps
Roberts
Gleeson
Goulding
Richards

For the next couple of years. I think a new 7 is what we need though because Tommy doesnt cut it for me.

If the opportunity to sign Shenton is there then I believe we should take it because he's got alot more years at the top left in him then Carmont and he has room for improvment but if we did lose out on him it's not the end of the world.

I'm sure Lenagan and Maguire have got their heads together and are on the look out for signings for 2011 and i'm fully trusting of those 2 to come up with whats best for the side.

As well as Goulding has been playing I don't think he's as good of a player as Shenton who let's face it has made the England team from playing well in a very poor Cas side.

I'd be gutted if he signed for Saints as he'd improve much in the same way Gleeson and Senior did after their big club moves.
