Rubbish. Utter rubbish. S.top lying If Brian Noble was playing the media game as you call in, in other words, lying through his back teeth, it would have been exposed/delt with long ago.

You've got what you wanted, but stop trying to discredit a man, who has more class than anyone on here, to act the way he has in spite of his treatment.

If you're so sure - name the club.

Hull.

Do not appreciate being called a liar.

The liar statement shows no class from you, and as a normally sensible poster hope it is the beer talking.

It is exciting because we could potentially be making a real stride forward.

Lets judge the new man in good time not speculate on what could happen.

Why, you had Noble judged from day one.

The new coach shall be given time, but I dont see how with the squad we have, anyone can expect more, and why Noble gets the stick he does, but what does it matter, he has been ran out of town, so now, we clearly will be miles better.

The same Hull that have guarnteed to Sean Long that Agar will be the coach next year?

But you are accusing Noble of it, are you not? if he as you said, played the media game as you say, he would have been exposed by now. Perhaps he is just acting in the proper way after some shabby treatment from the owner.

FWIW I retract the Liar statement, as its probably the wrong word to use, twisting is probably better, as you dont have like a anti-noble slant on things.

No i speculated I said I did not think he was the man to take us to the level we should be at, I have credited him and also slated him, but what i did not do was speculate on the success of a new coach 5 days prior to him being named.

I wasnt speculating, I hope the new coach wins the lot, I was merely asking, will he get the same flack as Noble, if we have a similar season.

AJ fair enough you know best, your mind is made up and you are happy. Surprised you have resorted to name calling as a poster i normally respect but fair enough, its your opinion.

The fact you seem to be judging the next coaches achievements before he has even been named does make you think that your opinion is still and always will be in the pro Noble camp despite the evidence.

How is it exciting, we don't know who the new coach is, its not suprise to see many basking in Noble's glory, but lets wait till Wednesday, then see how excited people are.

I have said for a while now there were two half's to the coaching situation at Wigan. The first was Noble not being coach in 2010. That alone was important in itself IMO for all the reasons done to death on this message board.

He's gone so I am happy about that.

Does this mean come Wednesday the new coach is bound to get unequivocal endorsement from me just because he isn't Nobby? Nope because that is another issue but I firmly believe Nobby had to go.

I am sure there will be posts similar to another of yours saying something along the lines of "what if we don't make the semis next year will the new coach have failed" but aren't such posts a but glib?

I am also sure I am not alone in thinking we have a poorly conditioned team and that this is something Nobby failed to address but I am not naive enough to think it can sorted out in one off season. It will take some time and so just like Nobby the new coach will be judged on whether or not he delivers steady progress. Nobby didn't do this and the semi's mask the fact he didn't.

The new coach, whoever he is, will get the same leeway Nobby did. When 2007 was a big disappointment after the way we finished 2006 Nobby got the benefit of the doubt. What it boils down to is the new coach starts with a clean slate just as Nobby did whoever it is.

Lets wait and see, you seem to hold a semi appearance as some form of success.

Hull
Wakefield
Catalans
Warrington

have had semi appearances while BN has been coach do not see too many of them claiming to have awesome seasons.

For someone that i have often had good debates with without any issue I have to say i am surprised you have resorted to name calling.

Lets speculate on the new man when he is named and judge him once he has had a crack at the job.

Noble is a great guy and i honestly felt sorry for him as he walked of to the dressing rooms but he hasnt progressed our team, the results over three years prove that so IL was correct by replacing him.

IL is no Mo.

I fear for our club under his stewardship.
