Stuart Fielden 4.5 Years Initial Contract June 2006 November 2010

Goulding, Hansen, McIlorum and Prescott should all be signed up as they are home grown players.

The decisions then lie over who to keep and who to release.

3 Props off contract, we cannot allow all 3 to leave Fielden, Coley and Feca all out of contract. I would be surprised if we didnt re-sign 2 of them.

Phelps at full back, carmont at centre and bailey in the back row could all continue to do a good job if the contracts were right.

Pryce can leave now for me, infact he can pick his destination and i would pay his bus fare.

Clean slate is fair enough, but he also has to show he deserves to get in ahead of other players, and his performances for the reserves so far haven't shown anything like it.

The only problem with that post is... Pryce will not get in the first team this season.

seems as though its a clean slate for everyone except pryce.

would be interesting if he comes back in against salford or in a couple of the following matches and plays excellent. im not going to be one of those who sits here and talks about his physical assests, and how we could have a world beater, nor am i going to say he doesnt have to heart for it, there is clearly two sides to this arguement, but it seems most have already made their mind up.

i certainly want to see him get a run of games, and wont write him off until he has had some games, and if he doesnt play some games and we let him go i will be quite annoyed. we have a couple of old centres, and a guy who could do a job for 10 years playing in the u20's. MM wants to look at what hes got before he brings someone in.

it certainly isnt going to help the guy that most of the fans have already decided they dont want him in the squad. take a look at goulding, a couple of seasons ago everyone had written him off. maybe we need to give the guy a chance.

If he works hard and proves to MM he deserves a chance we will, until then he will be a decent chunk of salary cap sat in a reserves league, id of thought that with the numbers of players out on loan that he could get some SL game time somewere but.................

It's a clean slate for everyone, that's what I like about MM, he picks on merit.

Look at the Mossop interview (and his performances) to see what a player's attitude to being dropped should be, then compare that with Pryce's performances. At reserve level, he should be the stand out player every week, yet he's being shown up by kids like Charnley & Marsh, both of whom are more deserving of a first team spot than Pryce is.
