I like TC, but the other four aren't doing it for me. Tautai has improved his ball carrying, but still makes too many errors, Biscuit-shoulders and Crosby are steady but not great, and Sutton is still very young. We don't have a sh1thouse like Morley, Graham, Peacock or Sims.

I actually think Crosby has been very good in the matches he has played. Out of all of them probably Flower has been the most disappointing but like a few I sense he's still struggling with an injury.

Agree on both points although I wouldn't class Flower overall as a disappointment, just that he hasn't hit the consistent heights he is capable of.

TT has been very good all year for me, he's had the odd issue and although he dropped 3 passes last Friday his contribution was very good for me. He scattered numerous defenders in his first stint first half and was part of the reason for us getting back in the game.

I know I'm going to get shot for this but I also think Mossop is going ok in the last month or so.

Sutton's last 6/8 games have also been improved but then again as with them all strength in numbers in terms of players available helps individual performances.

Well. Sims is the sh1tehouse all right. The others all have/had much more to their game than that.

Sims isn't fit to lace the drinks of the other three.

I'd rather have Gubb than F-PN. The Raiders obviously want shot of him.

No. He's actually been pretty good in the NRL, he's requested an early release himself due to personal reasons.

Didn't Sam T request an early release? I'm sure he did yet he was classed as a 'failure'!

Re: Rumours and signings v9 : Fri Jun 10, 2016 12:29 pm
It's funny how people see things but for me it probably comes down to expectation. I've got high expectations of Clubb and Flower and I don't think either hit the heights of other years so far. My expectations of Tautai and Mossop are pretty low and I think both have exceeded them massively so far this year. Yeah they've had poor games (Wire away was embarrassing for both) but in the main they've done ok.

That leaves Crosby and Sutton. I think Sutton is developing quite nicely. He's very young for a prop but he's gaining consistency. Dom Crosby has always been and still is my biggest frustration. I think he's hugely talented and when he wants to be, he's a very good player but he drifts through too many games. I think he'll do a Mike Cooper and come on leaps and bounds if he goes to the NRL has he'll come out of his comfort zone.

When our pack was completely depleted with injuries I thought Mossop really stood up. He had a spell of about 5 weeks where he looked to be getting back to his best. Wire away was the game where I thought his form dipped again but overall he's gone ok this season. TT is very hit and miss but is much improved on last season. Flower and Clubb are our best props and Crosby is strong when injury free. Sutton is young but I see a real prop in him when he matures.

Yeah. As a former Wigan player (at the time) Tomkins was cack by association in other fans' minds. Tomkins was also a high profile signing for the Warriors so that plays into it, whereas Cooper's move went under the radar a bit.

What's not in doubt is that Warrington will be strengthened next year with Cooper back in their squad just as we have been with Sam.

Anyone else seen David Fifita's signed for Wakefield. Could be a great signing for them - would arguably rather have him over FPN...

It may just be wishful thinking on my part but I'm hoping there's no link between the FPN rumours and Bateman's "unavailability". We were apparently in for Ferres pre-season then we didn't bring anyone in so there must be some cap space free. Also if JB was on his way out surely a like-for-like replacement for the SR would be a better option, considering we're pretty well stocked for props compared to the backrow, especially with the current injury situation.

It's true that Moley doesn't get many wrong so this does look likely. Personally I'd prioritise a top quality winger (Solomona or Burgess) over a prop but as others have said, he could fit right in. A starting front row of FPN, McIllorum and Flower is pretty formidable when you have Clubb, Crosby, Sutton, Mossop, Tautai to push them and make sure their on their game. I also hope this is not at the expense of you know who!!

I think it's increasingly likely that Sarge will be replaced by Gildart and Charnley by Tierney.
