It is common knowledge the identity of the players involved, you only have to view another forum and certain facebook pages, but that isn't the point I am making.
What the hell do you expect when players are encouraged to go head to head full on during training and to really get stuck into each other.
I am fed up of the same brainless statement every week after matches that the players are going to have it tough next week. There is no excuse for the said incident but what do you expect when players go out together for a booze up after being encouraged to knock lumps out of each other for days before.

Maybe this is like a boil bursting after the numerous times it has got to the day before a match and the announcement comes out that a player is out because of an injury sustained in training.

Obviously quite a lot of people know about the main rumour, but been out and about today and heard further things. Also seen a video of a completely separate incident of one of our players being, as they say, 'dropped' on the same night outside indiependance. Embarrassing episode all round for the club

Cruncher you make 3 points.

1, that my statement is a load of dogshyyte, you should take lessons off Itchey in spelling that word, it is shoite.

2, I am not putting Wigan RL on trial, I am putting a coach on trial whose whole outlook on the game is based on violence.

3, I will find it a bit hard to grow up any more as I am coming up to my 76th birthday and even though I am much disturbed by the state of the game today I still love Wigan RL.

As I have said this is my opinion, if fellow fans do not agree with it I can accept without resorting to abuse. Cheers.

If you have an issue with bad lads playing it tough, you need to watch a different sport or a different team.

Stop buying into the propaganda dog-doodah put out by jealous fans from other clubs.

The day Wigan stop playing it tough is the day I stop watching them.

But the main thing is, no-one knows what happened last night, and yet you feel sufficiently informed to pass judgement on the club's entire policy.

Surely this incident is worse than what Gleeson got potted for?I would be shocked if he played for Wigan again,If he wasn't so good of a player people would be going mental.

Not sure of the legal position i.e. disciplinary procedure at Wigan however, he has already had 3 previous warnings so I suspect he will be off once due process is completed.
It doesn't matter who he is or how good a player he is if he is guilty of the accusation
IL has imposed a total alcohol ban for the immediate future which will be impossible to impose however, it's obviously a statement of intent from IL.
With the other incident not a night that will go down as one of our better days.
IL and SW have one hell of job sorting this one out because I hear that the club is split into 2 with lads obviously siding with who they are friendly with - the old uns versus the young uns.

That is the biggest load of agenda driven shoite I've read on here.

The players are adults and need to take responsibility for their actions. They were on a day off and most seem to know how to behave after a drink. Those that can't need to look in the mirror and not blame anyone else.
