I think we should all send emails stating that the Wigan brand has been trampled all over with this monstrous effort of a shirt, the 60's design should be our generic shirt with the odd tweak such as a collar, no collar, black piping, no piping. With the hooped design I would hate for the hoops to be wide ones, the 60's style of hoops is what we need, not just for one season but forever, let the away shirt be the experimental design.
The last 10 years we've had more experimental kits rather than the 60's hoop design, the only nice kit we have had was the 09 shirt but even then the hoops were wide.
Please take note IFL, I haven't bought a home shirt for a few years because of the lack of quality, last years shirt was bad, I was quietly confident that because of the last few shirt designs we were due a shirt similar to the England kit when they played New Zealand.
Let this be the last crap kit and in future stick to our generic, legendary and proud cherry and white hoops (by hoops I mean all the way around the shirt, not stopping at the back like in years past making it look like a Leigh/Salford shirt e.g. 2007/08/10.
But aren't changing the shirt? Pointless listening then.
We've 12months before we get our say then. In the meantime we have to see that every week!
It's way too far down the road to do anything about it. This shirt will have been signed off months ago by Wigan, the sponsors and the RFL. There'll be thousands of shirts in a container, on a ship heading to the UK within a week or so plus all the pre-orders that have already been placed. We'll just have to live with it.

...and what was the response Geoff? I've never known a worse response than the one this shirt has got. Surely the club could cut it's losses on this, if only as a gesture of goodwill towards the fans?

Did that on the very first day that the club sent me the email of THAT bloody awful shirt. Put my heart n soul into the message....And didnt even get a response. For me - A bit disappointing really. And throws the whole idea of the 'Loyal 18' thing into doubt. They aint listening folks. Sorry, but thats it.

No offence, but they were probably laughing at you getting so worked up over a t shirt.
ATEOTD I dont care if they wear a plain t shirt with the wigan badge on it dipped in cow's píss as long as they are Wigan and they are playing their hearts out and winning trophys.
