While I think LMS is a good player I think he is being a little over hyped, I certainly do not rate him as one of the top Props who qualify for England never mind in SL.

I see a little of the Thorman syndrome in this one, a lad going pretty well from a non heartland area and the press jump all over it. He needs a few good seasons under his belt yet for mine, i think he has not had the impact he had last year.

If it were a choice between LMS and someone like Griffin, at the moment I would have gone for Griffin.

I disagree, for me LMS will mature into a superb player he's just a little slower at developing than Burgess or Graham was. I'd go as far as to say he's one of the best athletes we have in the sport and would be a great signing for any club as his best years are still ahead of him. With the right coaching and correct players around him to give him the support he needs his game will come on leaps and bounds.

i really hope they do sign him. will show everyone once and for all there are teams paying more than the salary cap allows.

If wire do manage to sign Graham then it'll stink but fair play to them for doing it and not getting court, I'd be more enraged by the fact that we didn't get him as he fit's the bill of what were looking for down to a tee.

Although nobody actually knows the in's and out's of what each individual player will earn at his respective club you cannot blame opposition fans for thinking that a side with seasoned professionals like:

Adrian Morley
Garreth Carvell
Louis Anderson
Vinnie Anderson
Lee Briers
Richard Myler
Matt King
Michael Monaghan
Chris Hicks
David Solomona
Ryan Atkins
Mickey Higham

then being linked with another big star like James Graham thinking that not everything is clear cut at Warrington RLFC.

With the likes of King of 200 grand plus, they don't need to earn much.

Why both :? if we get rid of Bailey I think we can go in for him.

He is an 80 minute work horse back row player of top quality, Hansen and Bailey would become surplus to requirements for the balance of the team, there is no way we should ever run with a fully defence orientated back 3 with the players we now have coming through.

How do we know what his passing skills are like? He never gets the ball off the most over rated centre I have ever seen.

He used to have a good passing game as the Roosters signed him as a stand off from Penrith as we were after him at the time to play there also.

I really cannot see him developing into anything other than a support Prop (all be it a good one) in a top team environment.

I have seen nothing in him to suggest he could lead the line like Peacock and Morley do for example, i see him as one of the 2 supporting Props in a balanced front line of line leader 2 supports and younger Prop.

I agree he's not in Peacock or Morley mold of player as he lacks the ability to make barnstorming runs as often as they do.

But if I were to liken him to another player it would probably be Graham due to the fact that like Graham he's a superb athlete taking the ball up more often than most follow props as well as playing more minutes than most props.

What I see LMS turning into is a very dependable consistent prop who has no real weaknesses and has an exceptionally high work rate, very much in the mold of Graham.
