I think Fielden had a good game, he was excellant in defense and carried the ball up well. The fact that quins scored all their points when he was off the pitch is no coincidence. One point he had the ball swotting off quins props and looking for an offload & Riddell was just there looking at him.

Just showed the lack of second phase rugby we play :(

Just watch it again. I thought the same when I was the game.

However, when I watched it after arriving home, it would have been almost impossible for him to get the ball out without giving up possession.
There were so many Quins players around the tackle and the ball, the pass wasn't really on.

Fielden was good last night apart from one dropped ball and a penalty conceded (that never was). He ran the ball ain all night and defended well.

One of the reasons he made more ground was Riddells passing. Once he gets settled into the team I' sure he will be big asset. Keep the faith.

Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.

Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.

I just watched the game again as a result of this and, in fairness to Piggy, he was up with the ball carrier a lot quicker than I first thought.
