Finch linked with Souths again this morning.
Pat has turned down Souths. (If true then how many other players are going to be approached by the Rabbitohs?)
Noble has taken a coaching role at Halifax.

Is this another of his short-term fixes? I'd have thought there'd be full-time posts available very soon at Leeds, Bradford and Hull.

Just doing some consultancy work to keep his hand in apparently.

Perhaps with a view to one of the clubs you mentioned.

Was that the Souths legend saying he'd be a good signing story? There certainly seems to be plenty rumours surrounding Finch, he certainly is someone I could see not seeing out his contract.

I suspect alot, whilst generally there is no smoke without fire, I suspect also that its easy column inches for the press, but as stated elsewhere, Madge has to tread a fine line here with what could be seen as looking to dismantle a squad - which on the face of it will need plenty work for next season anyway.

Yeah, this a little more worrying as he is still in contract till Nov 2012.

Any out of contract players wishing to return/try out NRL I have no issues with.

The Tommy stuff if true is when the Madge issue could turn a little nasty, hopefully its all speculation. If Tommy left id be happy with Dobson as his replacement, leaving us to sign a hooker as well to partner McIllorum.
