Runciman makes sense I guess given Thornley and Burgess are gone. He can cover centre and wing so gives us options in both positions if we pick up an injury in either position.

Can't see Sarg leaving if we are getting rid of Thornley I'm sure we would have made more of an effort to retain him if we were already losing Sarg.

If any if the above is true though I would hope we have a major forward or 2 signing for the pack as again we seem (if true) to be budgeting in the backs replacing 2 players with 1.

I saw that the option for sarge for 2016 had been taken up. Not sure if this was by the club or player.

I would like us to have a look at Dane Nielson. You don't become a bad player overnight, he has not been subjected to any formal police proceedings and he is available.

If he is fit he could very well be the George Carmont style signing we would love and at 30 he could probably give us 2 good years allowing us to continue to monitor Gildart and assess his first team credentials.

Sure he's a HB they played on the wing for some game time. We have lads at our club coming through who have the same potential. Plus he's signed for KR

A few years back he even played origin. Sadly he's way off the boil. Would be a risky signing.

Personally I would like a centre who isn't in career free-fall. What's the situation with SKD? Heard he's being squeezed out at the Roosters, if Sam isn't our marquee then he's worth a punt.

SKD = good player. And a Kiwi, like most of the best in the NTL these days...
