Judgement Day - I was wrong (it's now October). http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-13517496Harold Camping said it had "dawned" on him that God would spare humanity "hell on Earth for five months", and the apocalypse would happen on 21 October.
The evangelical broadcaster who left followers crestfallen by his failed prediction that last Saturday would be Judgement Day says he miscalculated.
Mr Camping said he felt "terrible" about his mistake.  At least we get to see us win the GF again, before we all die.  |

I don't know if anyone watched the tennis yesterday, and happened to notice what Rafael Nadal was wearing on his wrist? http://blog.perpetuelle.com/index.php/l ... dal-rm027/http://www.hodinkee.com/blog/2010/8/2/d ... ut-to.htmlHe's worn the watch in every tournament he's played in, since receiving it over a year ago. Now although I'm not a fan of skeletonized movements, from an engineering point of view it's nothing short of spectacular. And the fact that it weighs the same as twenty paper clips and can float on water just tops it off nicely. Keep an eye out for it at Wimbledon. |

When did you actually last beat a strong Saints or Warringtom team ? Don't include beating us last year at the HJ, we had a lead of around 14pts and were cruising then we lost both Briers and Monaghan, another example of Wigan capitalising on other teams misfortunes.

Just been flicking through channels and Eggheads was on. THe question that was asked was "Which team appointed Michael Maguire as head coach." The guy said he didn't have a clue but guessed at Wigan Warriors. When he was asked why he chose Wigan he replied "Because they're a big club"
