He isn't the first to be caught either. Ryan Hudson got a 2 year ban for failing a drug test. IMO they should be banned from competing in professional sport. This doesnt set a good example to children.

Difference is, Hudson took an over the counter tablet from Australia, not an illegal grade A substance

Even the "best" player in the world at the time Andrew Johns later admitted to using drugs. Went down in my estimations after that.

FWIW i dont think i have ever felt so down about Wigan RL as i do today.
the club seems to have lost its soul for me.

It would certainly make clubs more likely to weed out and line up any drug takers within its ranks and fire them off. I think Wigan should take a hard line over this matter and test our players off our own backs. Drugs in pro sports is a big no no.

Of course if it was feilden then i wouldnt be as bothered about him being released because:

a) hes on a huge salary and we can get better cheaper
b) he has underperformed for 2 years

d) when his ban is finished he would be 32-33ish

Hock is replaceable - he's a good player but there is always someone better or will be better in 2years time ie. Mossop/Farrell.

Hock had his chance he half took it, then he thought he was King Ding and blew it all away. IMHO he should be sacked.
