are you trying to tell me that you didnt sing about being champions??? and you have that flag with the challenge cups on at every home match! so dont come like you dont do it too!
Why sing Wemberley at a Round 1 Super League game.
Like I said earlier on another thread. This is World Club Challenge week, thanks for your interest but Wire fans need not be interested in what Wigan are doing,

But because WE ARE WIGAN they are interested in what we are doing. They will all be tuned into the tv on Sunday to watch us, once again, challenge for the title of world champions
I disagree in the sense that 7:15pm on a Sunday Night is a pissflap time to be playing such a big game. It is the worst slot they could have picked. Saturday Night 6pm ish and I reckon this game would have already be pretty much sold out already. Finishing about 9:15pm neutrals have to get back to Yorkshire, Cumbria wherever near to 11pm with work next day! It's idiotic!
Last three in Leeds at the same time on a Sunday have had 33k, 32k and 28k there so we need to look a little closer to home for me. The fact we can't sell it out when it's even on our home ground is pisspoor for the so called "best fans in the world". The last time a club was allowed to play it on their home turf there were 37k on - Wigan 1987.

no well be tuning it to see ST george, dont forget you arent playing yourselves, as much as youd love to do that every week!
Why not have this thread/comments after sunday, when we know the attendance! The amount of time wasted arguing about things that haven't happened yet is unbelievable.

We didn't have to pay Double for our regular spot, you could pay on the day and we don't live in a city of a Million people (Not sure if there was a Recession in 1987 so I won't throw that into the pot?).
Maybe we should have done an RFL and held at a small stadium like Wire and got a Lovely Sell out for the cameras and patted ourselves on the back that we "Sold Out"?
As for being "mickey Poor", IMO you couldn't be wider off the mark.

Leeds = CITY Wigan = Town
IMO Wigan have done their fair share of promotion for this game.. Can the same be said for both Sky and the RFL?? Not IMO.
