All I'll say is that I'm glad I'm not a customer of some of the businesses people work for. I've got a decent sized team under me and I'd never dream of letting team issues, impact on the service we deliver to clients. If my best team member was a bad egg, then I'd be having serious words and looking to replace them. I wouldn't however take him off my top client's account, especially if they had a mega important project. That would go down like a lead balloon and i doubt me saying "oh he's still here, I'm just teaching him a lesson and setting the culture. We've got a junior working on that important project your paying us."
That doesn't make me weak on culture, if you've got a bad apple then get rid of them. Don't let it impact the service you deliver.
Obviously different for fans and we seem to be treated like mugs by the people we pay our money too..
