What we need is a well established household name but no doubt Lenners will sign us with a tractor seat manufacturers or someone else just as daft and obscure, unless he gives it away for free
You've said this before as if it's that easy
Tell you what - Set up the deal - And I'm sure Lenners will turn up to sign it
I won't be happy unless we secure one of the following:
Apple Google Tesla Microsoft Amazon
Jeff Bezos can launch his rocket at half time against Leeds and take Lenagan up for a trip to space. Maybe sell raffle tickets for any spare seats on the bridge pre match.
The club will have been aware of the situation at Christmas, I'm sure there will be a short term deal in place with a new sponsor at least. The logos are pretty easily ironed on as the club shop have previously explained so wouldn't see this as a major issue.
Surely your main sponsor going bump and not paying you is a pretty major issue, I’d imagine being able to iron on a new sponsor logo is the least of the problem. They now have to negotiate a deal very late in the day to a company that will know that a lot of fans will have already bought shirts and thus reducing the reach and advertising from the deal so reducing the worth of the deal on their side.

That's what I meant. The process of ironing on the logos on the shop is not a major issue. Losing your main sponsor is a blow of course.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
I see no reason why we can't have Heinz or Continental, both have big factories in Wigan.
Whilst you are correct the hard part is convincing either company to shell out a six figure sum for a twelve month deal. By the way I'm not sure what the 'going rate' is for a Main Shirt Sponsor for a top SL club per annum but it won't be pennies.
