I don’t see why we can’t do all 3?

Burgess, Tommy, Clarke, Clubb, Hastings and possibly French/Gildart all leaving this season there’s no reason we could do all 3. Decent props come relatively cheaply and are extremely good value for money. Williams will obviously come with a weighty price tag but that shouldn’t in anyway hinder prop recruitment.

I’m not sure about this “first refusal”, that indicates it’s the club that decides if they want to re-sign Williams.
They may have asked for ‘first option’ to hold talks, which is just a gentleman’s agreement. Williams doesn’t have to do that either if he doesn’t want.

That would be a big upgrade, and imo would take your club back to winning subs silverware.

Not for me. Williams is a class player and would love him back but Hastings is a maverick and already world class playing behind a team of props who regularly let him down hence him taking the line on a lot. It must be so frustrating for him. Look how good he was at Salford playing behind props who made metres. Not world beaters but just good honest props, Mossop, Dudson, Burke, Ikhahifho, Flanaghan, McCarthy but Yates is a world beater in my opinion. The perfect loose forward.

'world beater'. Give over. He's a decent player at SL level, but go's missing in big games....

I’d have Mossop back. He was brilliant against Castleford.
