When Maurice sold me to Leeds something changed, it just not the same, the passion inside me just wasn’t the same as running out at Central park for my hometown club.
We need a change of culture here; we don’t want to be just happy with playing ok on Saturday at St Helens.
Ill make sure that from now on things will change, that players will be under pressure and will train a lot harder than they have before.

How the Premier League table would look if teams were awarded points for famous fans...

20th: Wigan
The Latics don't have any fans, yet alone any famous ones.

If England getting spanked = Mc Banana getting the bullet then so be it.
Short term pain for long term gain!!

As others have pointed out, it's worth losing a couple of meaningless games if it results in McNamara going. The option of scraping wins against the Exiles, cruising against France and Wales, then getting spanked again in the World Cup is worse. Even if he stays, losing might get through to him that his selections are flawed (to put it mildly).

It's not just at international level either. I know a lot of people that were glad we got hammered by Wakefield away in 2006, because it meant the end of agent Millward.

Other than the fact that he's not English, I don't really have too much of a problem with the inclusion of Chase but I would have paired him with Brough.

He isn't a scrum half. If we have to play Sinfield, I rate Brough above Chase. The Sinfield-Chase halfback 'partnership' just really doesn't work for me, they just don't work well together.

As for Ablett, he isn't even a first choice centre at the club in 9th(?) place, where the first choice centres are both English. How he can possibly be England's centre is beyond me.

Chase and Brough would be infinitely better IMO, God only knows why McBanana keps going with him. Having him at 6 at the expense of Gaz Widdop in last year's 4N was ludicrous but to stick with it almost a year later is plain stupid.

Of course it is, McNamara has nothing to do with it.

8. Lee Mossop
9. James Roby

11. Gareth Hock
12. Danny Tickle
13. Sean O'Loughlin

14. Mike McIllorum
15. Andy Lynch
16. Gareth Carvell
17. Jamie Jones Buchanan

spot on for me, plus with the NRL players joining at the end of season we could have a very exciting team on our hands but sadly we wont get to see it any time soon with McNamara picking the team.
