i've watched it over and over and as i said nothing happens till mason comes running in, hits fielden who then starts to hit back. you must be able to put a different interpretation on the events, perhaps view is a little tainted!!

Correct. If I was Fielden I would appeal, I feel he's ben hard done to!

Not at all just watched it frame by frame again just then Mason pushes him not punches him.

Nothing rose tinted at all, i'm not going to make myself look stupid just because it's Wigan.

I'm not saying Fielden deserves a ban, i'm just saying he's not an innocent party.

Mason admitted to intentionally standing on the leg of Fielden and then running in and pushing the same opponent in an aggressive manner in the match between Wigan and Huddersfield last Sunday. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_l ... 918594.stm I believe that Fielden & Griffin have good cases to appeal.

I daresay ANY player in SL would have acted any differently, had he been deliberately trod on then pushed aggressively within seconds of each other?

With regards to sinbinning for mass brawls, what if all 26 players are punching (which has happened before on many occasions), call the match off?

Am amazed Fielden got a ban. The RFL is a joke.

As a Wire fan I can't say I'm. Huge fan of Fielden at all but it was good to see him standing up for himself. Cowardly act from Mason, an although I don't think he put a great deal of pressure on the stamp, the RFL should have come down harder on him.
