Also, second rows are a bit quicker in the NRL. Seen that Tyrone Peachey? He's lightning quick. I've seen him run down Michael Jennings!

On the Warriors Forum they were raving about him yesterday,saying it was one of his best games since he went there, but at the same time some posters did say that they fancied him as a standoff.

Reminds me of Darren Lockyer starting as a fullback and then moving to standoff which proved to be a great success .

Tomkins was outstanding for the Warriors this week. He sets up so many tries for then it is unbelievable, his defence is very good he took every high ball they tested him on and made big meters on kick returns.

To say he is stagnating is an absolute nonsense. He has changed his style to a more supporting/ creative leader who helps pull the warriors round the pitch.

I don't know how he didn't get MOTM. It was also good to see Hodgson have a good game for the Raiders, the 2 Brits were up there as the best 2 on the pitch.

They gave it to Matulino I think.

George Burgess got MOM in the Souths game.

Not forgetting Sam has just come back from a hamstring injury, might have thought twice before giving it his all in a spirit. I'm sure during the games commentary they mentioned Sam being the quickest in the NZ team.

He'd make the world of difference to our current Wigan team.

In fairness we don't sign that type of player anymore apart from Bowen and that's because there isn't a great deal of choice about in the full back position.

Now if there's a guy we can get for 30k a year who might develop in to a half decent player in 3-5 years ready to be sold on to the NRL/Union/Salford we might be talking!

Nailed on for Salford I expect with his brother being there.

He form me is exactly the type of player we could do with in terms of experience and also attitude but I think his injury record does go against him.

I would hope there would be better options available to replace Patrick in the squad and we are in discussion with them now.
