WIGAN have beaten Warrington to George Williams. The 16-year-old is the hottest talent in Lancashire and has been signed on a three-year lucrative contract. The England and Lancashire schoolboy half-back spent Monday at Warrington with his father and left very impressed. But Wigan then pulled out all the stops. Williams had a had a two-hour training session with the first-team and was placed with internationals Sam Tomkins and Thomas Leuluai who will mentor him. His father Peter is the Wigan club's Under-18 coach but he left the decision entirely to his son http://wigan.rlfans.com/fusion_pages/in ... ge_id=1544 Apologies if this has been posted (and for the fact its Nosey parkers work) |
